I just had the craziest day over money. I went to the ATM machine this morning and my card wouldn't work. I went to another ATM machine and it still wouldn't work. Starving and in need of coffee, I ran to my office where I was late for a meeting. I headed to my bank after the meeting for an hour's wait and problem-solving session. We finally realized that my card had been cancelled because I had received a new one in the mail. But I hadn't activated the new one yet, so I had to run back home and activate it and I'm just now having breakfast. How can the bank justify cancelling my card before the new one is in existence? How very annoying.
