Kudos to you for your commitment to your cause. I have a gay daughter.
However, you might review the government docs you site. You see, we Bible believing Christians believe in the separation of church and state. We do not want the state dictating to us how we are to believe. There is nothing in the Constitution or Bill of Rights that states anything about any religious group controlling the government. I am a conservative Baptist and and believe that no religious group should ever control the government.
Conversely, we still go to the ballot boxes and vote our conscience. That is our right, too.
