Just got off the phone with a member of my "second family." Years ago I worked with my-now-great-friend Nathan and eventually got to know quite well the various members of his immediate family-- girlfriend, sisters, and even mother-- became close to them, had holidays with them, visited often and so on. Nathan and his girlfriend Julia are finally getting married in May of 2002 in Savannah, GA and I'll be there for the wedding. How'd I get so lucky as to have not just one but two families?
