sorry no postings lately. haven't been near a computer much. and haven't wanted to be. i'm back in bangkok right now for one night before heading to kuala lumpur tomorrow for the weekend. i spent a very very long day traveling back from the island of koh chang where it was a total downpour this morning and i got soaked. so my bus ride back wasn't that fun because i was still wet. and it was a long day all around, leaving my wonderful island resort at around 10am and finally getting to my hotel in bkk here around 9pm. walk, taxi, ferry, taxi, bus, skytrain, walk... long travel day. and gloomy weather today. and i was wet all day. but otherwise, all is good! and i can't complain really, i'm just tired from the long day.

i had a terrific time on the island. had a lovely place, as i mentioned before, at the paradise palms resort which i highly recommend for getting away from it all. yesterday, i went on the island's elephant trekking adventure which had me on an elephant through the jungle for about an hour. that was pretty fun. here are a few photos.
