10 year anniversary of moving into my apartment on bush street in san francisco where/when-upon i also met my friend/then-neighbor jessie. time flies

having a really wonderful time with corby while he's here. not feeling all that well, migraines and a little run down, but otherwise it's a great time. i like just having someone i feel so comfortable with just around me. i don't worry about anything really while i'm with him. i'm just myself. it's very calming. we've been shopping all day at cool artsy stores, seeing art, buying clothes, both the lower and the upper haight areas. having a good time today. just wish my head would stop hurting. i love having corby around.

went with the parents to have breakfast at louis' restaurant overlooking the ocean on the cliffs. beautiful spot with great views and lots of good food. being with the parents means waking up before dawn and getting here before the place opens at 630am and even before the ocean is viewable. but now an hour or so later the view is wonderful and we are stuffed with food. now we wait a few hours for the academy of sciences to open

wow! so my best friend from high school, Corby, is in a new documentary that's premiering around the country, including san francisco next week as part of the international documentary film festival. here are two trailers for the movie with him featured in each several times. you can see him and hear his voiceover. he's the artist/janitor at an art school in seattle. the new movie is called 'the philosopher kings'




Corby is so amazing! i've always told him that we need to bottle up all of his philosophies into a book one time. maybe this documentary will help move that forward

g.i.joe comes out on dvd in two weeks!!!!

celebrating my 7th anniversary with the wonderful woman in my life. can't believe it was 7 years ago we met, fell in love, and got married all in the same day (although still not legal in all 50 states). she's the best thing in my life and i love her dearly. and she even puts up with my 'dating' men on the side, sometimes... oh, and 7 years later she put an end to my mice problem once and for all! love you baby!

perfect timing for my parents' soon-to-be-visit, more sea lions than ever before!

There must be something in the water because the sea lions are making an epic splash this year. More than 1,500 are piled on top of each other on the docks at Pier 39. That’s not only a record-breaking number of the massive creatures at the pier, it’s also three times more than normal. And it’s not just at the pier, it’s up and down the coast.
